Christmas Celebration

The McKinleyville Shopping Center invites you to join them for the Christmas Celebration! The annual Christmas Celebration is a kick-off to the holiday season in McKinleyville and is a fun, free, kid-friendly event open to the community. The Celebration will be Thursday, December 7th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the McKinleyville Shopping Center. The event is always a good time, and includes Santa Claus coming to town on a fire truck (at 5:30 p.m.), free crafts and treats for the kids, free horse-drawn carriage rides, and more! We are also proud to present Santa Claus lighting a giant Christmas tree on the front lawn, sponsored by the McKinlevyille Chamber of Commerce. The complete schedule is included below: 5:00-5:30 pm: Christmas Caroling on the front lawn 5:30 pm: Santa arrives on a fire truck and lights the giant Christmas tree! Sponsored by the McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce 5:30-7:00 pm: Free kid’s activities: Christmas crafts, treats & activities, Free horse-drawn carriage rides Free balloon animals. 6:00-7:00 pm: Have your picture taken with Santa! Free, bring a camera to take a photo of your child with Santa The McKinleyville Shopping Center is located at Central Avenue and City Center Roads. All Holiday events are free and open to the public.
