Journalbooking is a relaxed, creative workshop that blends the heart of scrapbooking with the freedom of journaling. Think less “perfect layouts” and more telling your story using photos, words, and meaningful bits you’ve collected along the way. Inspired by travel journals and junk journaling, this class encourages layering photos, ephemera, souvenirs, and everyday memorabilia in a way that feels natural and personal. There are no rules—only ideas, inspiration, and permission to play. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook, journal, or album of their choice, along with photos, memorabilia, stickers, pens, adhesive and anything else they'd like to use. The instructor will be working in an A5 binder-style journal to demonstrate techniques that easily translate to any format. This workshop is perfect for: Scrapbookers who want a looser, more creative approach Journalers who want to incorporate photos and keepsakes Anyone who wants to document memories without pressure Come as you are, bring what you have, and leave with pages that feel meaningful, imperfect, and uniquely yours.
