Youth Wrestling Clinic w/ HOF Coach Marc Sprague
For ages 8-17, let Hall of Fame Coach Marc Sprague with over 50 years of coaching, mentoring, and motivating wrestlers of all ages and skill levels, take you through and teach you the ins and outs of Freestyle Wrestling.
From March 4th-6th you will learn or improve the following;
- Single Leg Defense - Front Tilts & Turns
- Trapped Arm Gut Wrenches
- Crotch Lifts and Crotch Lift Defense
- Leg Laces and Leg Turns
- Freestyle Lifts from Parterre
- The seldom taught Russian Ankle Turn
- Parterre Defenses for Gut Wrenches/Leg Laces/Crotch Lifts
- Four dynamic throws for Greco/Freestyle and Collegiate Wrestling
Coach Sprague loves freestyle and feels! Freestylists have a great skill set and technical abilities that all wrestlers need, so come and improve your chances to win in any style - A good freestylist brings more to the game!
Friday: 6pm-7:30pm @ The Club on Central
Saturday: 9am - 3:30pm @ McKinleyville Middle School
Sunday: 9am-12pm @ The Club on Central
