Jeffrey Schwartz Photography, LLC

A native of San Pedro, California, Jeff has been a photographer since childhood. “For my 13th birthday, I was gifted a photo enlarger and learned to develop and print black and white film in the bathroom of the house I grew up in.”

In the late 1980s, Jeff moved to Arcata to attend Humboldt State University where he studied Journalism and Public Relations. Some of his photos were published in The Lumberjack newspaper and The Osprey magazine. Jeff continued to practice and improve his photography skills in the darkroom on campus.

In 2016, one of Jeff’s horse pictures was published by National Geographic in one of their children’s books.

Jeff combines his artistic eye and advanced editing skills to showcase his images on his website and social media platforms. Prints may be purchased at one of several businesses where he displays his work as well as his website.
