36th Annual Candlelight Walk Returns to Redwood National & State Parks Nov. 7 & 8, 2025
CRESCENT CITY, Calif. – Redwood Parks Conservancy (RPC) is excited to announce that the 36th Annual Candlelight Walk Through the Ancient Redwoods will take place Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. each night. This timed-entry, self-guided event features two groups per night—Group 1 at 4 p.m. and Group 2 at 6 p.m.—allowing guests to experience the magic of the redwoods in an intimate, Eureka, CA - Compass Community Credit Union recently participated in a Back-to-School drive for Humboldt County families. The credit union, along with Bicoastal Media and the Humboldt County Office of Education, teamed up for the Stuff the Bus Back-to-School Drive. Collection bins were made available at the Compass Arcata and Henderson Center branches, starting on July 28th through August 22nd.

Eureka, CA—Compass Community Credit Union proudly supported local youth by providing add-on bids for the Junior Livestock Auctions at both the Trinity County Fair and the Humboldt County Fair. Student projects included raising steers, goats, and hogs—an effort that requires participants to purchase, feed, and care for Eureka, CA – Compass Community Credit Union recently supported to two non-profits helping to better our local community. A donation was presented to the Humboldt Library Foundation for their book mobile and a donation was presented to the Eureka Community Services to provide scholarships for children’s camp.
