Coast Central Credit Union Grant Program Awards $150,000 in Fall 2025 Grant Round

Eureka, CA (October 30, 2025) – Coast Central Credit Union is excited to announce our Board of Directors has approved a total of $150,000 in grants to 25 local organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties for the fall 2025 round of its Community Investment Program. In addition to its grant program, Coast Central also supports local communities through sponsorships and college scholarships for a total of over $700,000 annually. Also, this year, CCCU employees will contribute over 8,400 hours in volunteerism.

Humboldt

  • Blocksburg Town Hall Assoc. – $8,000: junior barn
  • Breast and GYN Health Project – $11,400: new phone system
  • Dows Prairie Grange – $4,600: building materials, exterior skirting
  • Eureka Woman’s Club – $4,800: milk program
  • Hospice of Humboldt – $5,000: building materials for team room
  • Humboldt COAS – $7,571: infrastructure needs for disaster recovery
  • Humboldt Family Services – $4,000: new laptops
  • Humboldt Humane – $3,000: new neutering equipment
  • Humboldt Library Foundation – $10,000: bookmobile
  • Humboldt Made – $3000: Choose Humboldt Passport project
  • Humboldt Soups On – $8,000: purchase of meals, ingredients
  • Humboldt Swim Club – $1,921: purchase of new equipment
  • Hydesville Parent Group – $5,000: water access project
  • Kneeland Educational Foundation – $6,700: playground equipment
  • Nation’s Finest – $3,000: new bed frames and lockers
  • Noel for Neighbors – $2,000: new jackets and shoes
  • North Coast Rape Crisis Team – $3,000: funding for 24-hour hotline
  • Redway Volunteer Fire Department – $8,000: Wildland PPE
  • Southern Humboldt Little League – $4,000: new roof for snack shack
  • Special Olympics of Northern California – $10,000: training program

Trinity

  • Coffee Creek Volunteer Fire Department – $2,608: new equipment
  • Trinity Alps Unified School District – $19,900: track equipment

Del Norte

  • Crescent City Fire and Rescue Explorers – $1,500: new uniforms
  • Del Norte Disaster Animal Response Team – $11,500: cargo trailer
  • Friends of the Lake Earl Grange – $1,500: field day event
